
Ultrasound Technologist
Mercy is looking for a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist with an upbeat and compassionate demeanor to join our team of professionals. We are a patient-focused healthcare organization that values collaboration and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing ultrasound imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.The ideal candidate for this position will have a deep understanding of the principles and techniques of ultrasound imaging. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for providing quality patient care. We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to safety and patient satisfaction.To be considered for this role, you must have an Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited school, as well as certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). A valid state license is also required. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize ultrasound imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the principles and techniques of ultrasound imaging.
- Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
- Provide quality patient care with a commitment to safety and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attendance.
- Maintain a valid state license and ARDMS certification.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and developments.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of ultrasound results.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
