Ultrasound Technologist

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Mercy. As a critical member of our medical staff, you will play a key role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a certified Ultrasound Technologist with at least one year of experience in the field and a strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures. You should be passionate about delivering excellent patient care, be able to maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform imaging procedures on patients • Explain procedures and answer patients’ questions as needed • Position patients and select equipment settings to obtain optimal images • Record and present images for physician review and interpretation • Maintain ultrasound equipment in proper working order • Follow safety protocols to ensure patient safety • Maintain patient records and prepare reports • Provide compassionate and courteous care to all patients • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
