
Ultrasound Technologist
We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Ultrasound Technologist to join the award-winning team at Mercy. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced ultrasound professional with a commitment to providing high-quality care and excellent patient service.The successful candidate should have ARDMS certification, be able to operate ultrasound equipment, and have a comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound technology and procedures. The ability to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members is essential. The ability to remain organized and work independently is also necessary. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. At Mercy, serving our patients and community is our top priority. Responsibilities of an Ultrasound Technologist:
- Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams for patients.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of ultrasound technology and procedures.
- Interact professionally and compassionately with patients, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate excellent patient service and provide high-quality patient care.
- Organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Remain detail-oriented and accurate in all aspects of the job.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documents.
- Ensure patient data is secure and confidential.
