
Ultrasound Technologist
We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Mercy. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and providing exceptional patient care. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies of patients and assisting in the diagnosis of medical conditions.The successful candidate must have an Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and hold a valid ARDMS credential. In addition, prior experience in an ultrasound or related healthcare field is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies of patients and assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
- Maintain the highest levels of patient care and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate patient data and images are collected and recorded.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel regarding patient care.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Modify protocols as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities as needed.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Follow all established policies and procedures.
