Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our telehealth services by ensuring accurate and timely coding of medical records for virtual patient visits.   1. Accurate and Timely Coding: Ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records for virtual patient visits to support our telehealth services.
  2. Knowledge of Medical Coding and Billing: Possess a strong understanding of medical coding and billing guidelines, including ICD-10 and CPT codes, to accurately code and bill for telehealth services.
  3. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in coding medical records.
  4. Communication: Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, and other team members to obtain necessary information for accurate coding and billing.
  5. Fast-paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  6. Technological Aptitude: Utilize various technology platforms and software to accurately code and bill for telehealth services.
  7. Independent Work: Work independently to review and code medical records for virtual patient visits, while also collaborating with team members as needed.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all coding and billing regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and CMS rules.
  9. Problem-solving: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve coding discrepancies and issues.
  10. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of coding and billing for telehealth services.
  11. Teamwork: Collaborate with other coding and billing team members to support the efficient and effective delivery of telehealth services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field

  • Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Or Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Certification

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Medical Coding, Preferably In A Telehealth Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Icd-10, Cpt, And Hcpcs Coding Guidelines

  • Experience With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Telehealth Platforms
