Completion Of An Accredited Surgical Technology Program: Candidates For This Position Should Have Successfully Completed A Surgical Technology Program From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have Received Comprehensive Training In Surgical Procedures, Operating Room Protocols, And Patient Care.
Certification As A Surgical Technologist: Applicants Must Be Certified As A Surgical Technologist By The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Competency In The Field Of Surgical Technology.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Surgical Support: Mercy Is Seeking Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Surgical Support Role. This Experience Should Include Assisting With Surgical Procedures, Maintaining Surgical Instruments And Equipment, And Providing Patient Care In The Operating Room.
