If so, then we have the perfect role for you! Mercy is seeking a Sr Chargemaster Clinical Specialist to join our team as a remote employee. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the chargemaster and revenue cycle processes to ensure compliance and maximize revenue for our organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and extensive knowledge of coding and billing regulations.   1. Oversee the chargemaster and revenue cycle processes to ensure compliance with all coding and billing regulations.
  2. Maximize revenue for the organization by identifying and addressing any coding or billing errors.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reviews of the chargemaster to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Stay updated on all coding and billing regulations and make necessary updates to the chargemaster.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and workflow related to the chargemaster.
  6. Train and educate staff on proper coding and billing practices to maintain compliance.
  7. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.
  8. Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals on coding and billing related inquiries.
  9. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to the chargemaster and revenue cycle processes.
  10. Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and resolve any coding and billing discrepancies.
  11. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all coding and billing processes.
  12. Act as a liaison between the organization and external coding and billing agencies.
  13. Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance companies and government agencies.
  14. Participate in revenue cycle meetings and provide updates on chargemaster related issues.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the chargemaster and revenue cycle processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, With A Focus On Chargemaster Maintenance And Clinical Documentation.

  • Strong Understanding Of National And State-Specific Billing Regulations And Coding Guidelines.

  • Certification In Healthcare Compliance (Chc) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Remotely.
