- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Stay current on advancements in speech therapy techniques and technology.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and complete necessary documentation for reimbursement.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha)
State Licensure As A Speech-Language Pathologist
Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Speech And Language Disorders, As Well As Evidence-Based Therapies And Interventions For Different Populations And Age Groups.
