Job Description

At Mercy, our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are essential members of our team, providing expert care and support to our patients. We are now looking for a skilled and compassionate SLP to join us in our mission to provide quality healthcare to the community. This position requires an individual with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical experience in the field of speech therapy and be licensed in the state of practice. Knowledge of the medical field, current standards of practice, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care are essential qualifications for this position. Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for patients
  3. Provide speech and language therapy and interventions to help patients reach their goals
  4. Educate patients and their families on speech and language related topics
  5. Monitor and document patient progress
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  7. Maintain a current knowledge of the field of speech-language pathology
  8. Comply with state and federal regulations and ASHA standards
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality
