- Coordinate and manage all aspects of specialty infusion therapy for patients, including scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance authorizations, and communicating with healthcare providers.
- Ensure that all patients receive timely and appropriate infusion therapy, maintain accurate records, and follow up on any necessary documentation.
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding infusion therapy services.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Conduct insurance verification and assist with insurance appeals as needed to ensure coverage for infusion therapy services.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding infusion therapy, including medication administration and potential side effects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of infusion therapy guidelines and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Monitor inventory and supplies for infusion therapy and coordinate with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of medications and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and seamless infusion therapy experience for patients.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to infusion therapy services to enhance the patient experience and increase efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Sales, Account Management, Or Customer Service In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Specialty Infusion Therapy, Including Medication Management, Insurance Coverage, And Reimbursement Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Healthcare Providers, Payers, And Patients.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Customer Relationship Management (Crm) Software.
