Welcome to Mercy Regional Float Pool! We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As a member of our float pool, you will have the opportunity to work in various units and locations within our healthcare system, providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population.   1. Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in various units and locations within the healthcare system.

  12. Serve as a patient advocate and provide emotional support for patients and their families.
  13. Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  15. Handle difficult or emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  16. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  17. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  18. Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  19. Maintain a current RN license and fulfill all continuing education requirements.
  20. Other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: Mercy Requires Candidates For The Rn - Regional Float Pool Job To Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting. This Experience Ensures That The Nurse Is Familiar With The Demands And Challenges Of Working In A Dynamic Healthcare Environment.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge, Including Proficiency In Iv Insertion, Medication Administration, And Patient Assessment. This Is Crucial For Providing High-Quality Patient Care And Ensuring Patient Safety.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Working In The Regional Float Pool Requires A High Level Of Flexibility And Adaptability. The Candidate Should Be Able To Quickly Adjust To Different Units And Patient Populations, As Well As Different Hospital Policies And Procedures. This Also Includes Being Able To Work Varying Shifts And Schedules.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Member Of The Regional Float Pool, The Rn Will Be Working With Different Teams And Healthcare Professionals.
