As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients with respiratory disorders.   1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients with respiratory disorders and create individualized treatment plans.
  2. Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and ventilation support.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for patients.
  4. Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  5. Monitor and record patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  6. Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care to patients experiencing respiratory distress.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy treatments and techniques through continuing education and training.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  10. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to patient care.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for respiratory therapy.
  13. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to respiratory therapy.
  14. Assist with the maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment and machines.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety of patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Active State License As A Respiratory Therapist.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting.

  • Cpr And Acls Certification.
