
Resource RN - Registered Nurse

- Provide exceptional care to patients in accordance with Mercy's standards and policies.
- Work collaboratively with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
- Serve as a resource and support for nurses, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new nurses to ensure they are knowledgeable and competent in their roles.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare facilities as needed to coordinate patient care.

Current Rn License: The Resource Rn At Mercy Must Hold A Valid, Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Employment. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Qualified To Practice Nursing And Can Legally Provide Care To Patients.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Acute Care Experience: The Resource Rn Role At Mercy Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting. This Experience Ensures That The Nurse Has A Solid Foundation In Clinical Skills And Can Adapt To Different Patient Populations And Acuity Levels.
Bls And Acls Certification: As A Resource Rn, The Nurse May Be Required To Respond To Emergency Situations. Therefore, Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Necessary Qualifications For This Role.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Resource Rn, The Nurse Will Be Working Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Support Staff. Effective Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential To Ensure Quality Patient Care And A Positive Work Environment.
Flexibility And Adaptability: The Resource Rn Role At Mercy Requires The Ability To Quickly Adapt To Changing Situations And Patient Needs. This Includes Being Able To Work In Different Units And With Different Patient Populations. Flexibility And Adaptability Are Crucial Qualities For A Resource Rn At Mercy.
