Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn Licensure: All Candidates Must Possess A Current And Active Registered Nurse License Issued By The State In Which They Will Be Working.

  • Dialysis Experience: Previous Experience In A Dialysis Setting Is Preferred, But Not Required. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Principles Of Dialysis And Be Familiar With The Equipment And Procedures Used.

  • Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For All Rn Positions At Mercy. Candidates Must Be Able To Demonstrate Proficiency In Basic Life-Saving Techniques.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Dialysis Rn, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. Candidates Must Be Able To Accurately Monitor Patient Vital Signs And Track Changes In Their Condition, As Well As Ensure Proper Administration Of Medications And Treatments.

  • Team Player Mentality: Working In A Dialysis Unit Requires Collaboration And Teamwork. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Well With Others, Communicate Effectively, And Be Willing To Help Out With Tasks Outside Of Their Primary Responsibilities When Needed.
