Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Registered Nurse At Mercy South Operating Room Must Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Clinical Knowledge And Patient Care.

  • Active Rn License: To Work As A Registered Nurse At Mercy, Candidates Must Have An Active And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State In Which They Will Be Employed.

  • Operating Room Experience: Mercy South Operating Room Is A Fast-Paced And High-Demand Environment, So Candidates With Previous Experience Working In An Operating Room Setting Will Be Preferred. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Handle Complex Procedures And Work Well Under Pressure.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: As A Healthcare Provider, A Registered Nurse At Mercy Must Be Certified In Both Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls). These Certifications Ensure That The Nurse Is Equipped To Respond In Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Care To Patients.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Registered Nurses At Mercy Must Possess Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide The Best Possible Care For Patients. This Includes The Ability To Communicate With Patients And Their Families In A Compassionate And Empathetic Manner.
