  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology to produce high-quality images and accurate results.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to develop and implement treatment plans.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  6. Stay updated on latest developments and advancements in the field of radiology and continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
  7. Provide exceptional patient care by displaying compassion, empathy, and professionalism at all times.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the radiology department.
  9. Mentor and train new staff members and students to uphold the high standards of the department.
  10. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by communicating effectively and working closely with colleagues and other departments.
  11. Adhere to the hospital's policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  12. Attend departmental and hospital meetings, as well as conferences and workshops, to stay informed and contribute to the improvement of radiology services.
  13. Comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards and ensure the department meets all requirements.
  14. Act as a representative of the radiology department and promote a positive image of the hospital and its services to patients, families, and the community.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the department head or hospital administration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiology Technology Or Related Field: A Solid Educational Background In Radiology Is Essential For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Techniques Of The Field.

  • Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification: This Certification Is A Nationally Recognized Standard For Radiology Professionals And Is Often Required By Employers In The Field.

  • Previous Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting: Mercy Is A Healthcare Organization, And Experience In A Similar Environment Will Be Highly Valued As It Demonstrates Familiarity With The Processes And Protocols Of Patient Care.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Radiology-Win From Within Employee At Mercy, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Information And Build Positive Relationships.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Radiology Is A Highly Technical Field, And The Ability To Accurately Capture, Analyze, And Interpret Images Is Critical For Providing Quality Patient Care. A Keen Eye For Detail And A Commitment To Accuracy Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
