
Radiologic Technologist - Orthopedic Surgery

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the orthopedic surgeon.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and ordering necessary supplies.
- Continuously educate and train to stay updated on advancements and developments in the field of radiology.
- Practice radiation safety measures and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field
Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Surgery Imaging
Knowledge Of Specialized Orthopedic Imaging Techniques, Such As Arthrography And Myelography
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment, Multitask, And Prioritize Patient Care While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
