  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
  • Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the orthopedic surgeon.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking and ordering necessary supplies.
  • Continuously educate and train to stay updated on advancements and developments in the field of radiology.
  • Practice radiation safety measures and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences as required to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Surgery Imaging

  • Knowledge Of Specialized Orthopedic Imaging Techniques, Such As Arthrography And Myelography

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment, Multitask, And Prioritize Patient Care While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
