  1. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  2. Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images.
  3. Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
  4. Maintain accurate patient records and image quality control.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results.
  6. Educate patients on the imaging procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
  7. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Formal Education Program In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Institution.

  • Arrt Certification: Candidates Must Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) And Maintain A Valid Certification Throughout Their Employment At Mercy.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Radiologic Technologist. This May Require Passing A State-Administered Exam Or Meeting Other Specific Requirements.

  • Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Radiology Equipment And Procedures, Including X-Rays, Mri, Ct Scans, And Other Imaging Techniques.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills: Radiologic Technologists At Mercy Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Have A Strong Focus On Patient Care And Ensuring The Comfort And Safety Of Patients During Procedures.
