  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in a primary care setting.
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and document patient's vital signs and overall health status.
  5. Educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  10. Stay updated on current healthcare practices and procedures.
  11. Assist with procedures and treatments as needed.

  13. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  14. Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  15. Display a professional and positive attitude towards patients, colleagues, and superiors.
  16. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Primary Qualification For An Lpn Job At Mercy Is A Valid And Current Lpn License. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Quality Care To Patients.

  • Previous Experience In Primary Care: Mercy May Prefer Candidates Who Have Previous Experience Working In A Primary Care Setting. This Experience Can Include Working In A Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Or Pediatrics.

  • Knowledge Of Primary Care Procedures: Lpns At Mercy Will Be Expected To Assist With A Variety Of Primary Care Procedures Such As Administering Medications, Collecting Specimens, And Assisting With Minor Procedures. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Primary Care Procedures.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Communication Is A Crucial Aspect Of Working In Primary Care, As Lpns Will Need To Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must For This Role.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Primary Care Settings Can Be Fast-Paced And Require Lpns To Multitask And Prioritize Their Responsibilities. Candidates Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Handle A High Volume Of Patients While Maintaining A High Level Of Quality Care.
