
Practice Manager - Women's Health

Mercy is currently seeking a Practice Manager for our Women's Health department who will lead and support a team of dedicated providers in delivering exceptional patient care. As the Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic, while also providing strategic direction and implementing best practices to enhance our services. - Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Women's Health department.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Supervise and support a team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
- Strategize and implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Monitor and manage department budgets, including staffing and supplies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to coordinate care and services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Provide guidance and support to providers on complex patient cases.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise within the department.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other stakeholders to address concerns and resolve issues.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and identify areas for process enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison between the Women's Health department and other departments within the organization.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Demonstrate a deep commitment to providing exceptional care and service to women.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Management Role, Preferably In Women's Health.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Women's Health Issues And Medical Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Staff, And Physicians.
