  1. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with neurological disorders.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with various neurological conditions.
  3. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to accurately diagnose and monitor patients' conditions.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  8. Participate in research and contribute to advancements in the field of neurology.
  9. Stay current on advancements, best practices, and latest treatments in the field of neurology.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and medical documentation.
  11. Provide on-call coverage and consultations as needed.
  12. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and conferences.
  13. Mentor and supervise medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of the organization in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Neurology By The American Board Of Psychiatry And Neurology (Abpn).

  • Medical Degree: A Physician-Neurologist At Mercy Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Residency Training: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Residency Program In Neurology At An Accredited Institution.

  • State License: A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice Medicine In The State Of The Mercy Facility Is Required.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Neurology Is Preferred. Previous Experience Working In A Hospital Setting Is Also Desirable.
