  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Physician - Hospitalist At Mercy Should Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Should Be Board Certified In Internal Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).

  • Residency Training: Completion Of A Three-Year Residency Program In Internal Medicine Is Required. Additional Fellowship Training In Hospital Medicine Is Preferred.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Should Have A Valid Medical License To Practice In The State Where The Mercy Hospital Is Located. This License Must Be In Good Standing And Without Any Restrictions.

  • Prior Hospitalist Experience: Experience Working As A Hospitalist Is Preferred, But Not Required. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Hospital Operations, Patient Care, And Team Collaboration In A Hospital Setting.
