Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Physician - Hematology And Oncology At Mercy Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Both Hematology And Oncology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).

  • Residency And Fellowship Training: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Residency In Internal Medicine And A Fellowship In Hematology And Oncology At An Accredited Institution.

  • Clinical Experience: Mercy Requires A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Practicing As A Physician - Hematology And Oncology, With A Strong Background In Diagnosing And Treating Various Blood Disorders And Types Of Cancer.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Member Of A Multidisciplinary Team, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
