- Collaborate with a team of physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Educate patients on preventative measures and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in primary care.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Previous Experience Working In Primary Care, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting.
Strong Clinical Skills, Including The Ability To Diagnose And Treat Common Illnesses And Injuries.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
