Mercy is looking for an experienced and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Our PA will work closely with our physicians and other medical staff to provide quality care for all of our patients. The successful candidate will have completed a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) and must be certified and licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. In addition, the candidate must have current, active certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a minimum of two years of experience in a physician practice setting. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing exceptional care and who is passionate about making a difference in our patient’s lives.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population
• Work closely with physicians and other medical staff to provide quality care
• Maintain certification and licensure in the state of Pennsylvania • Maintain certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) • Ensure all medical procedures are performed according to established safety protocols • Utilize excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities • Document patient care plans and progress in medical records • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times • Provide patient education on health topics • Follow all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
