Job Description

Mercy is looking for an experienced and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering quality healthcare and helping patients.The PA will provide assistance to physicians in the management of patient care and perform duties such as performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting test results. The PA will also be responsible for patient education, managing medications, and providing advice to patients and families.We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience as a PA in a medical setting, including a current state licensure as a PA. Candidates should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills and an understanding of healthcare regulations. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret test results.
  2. Provide patient education, manage medications, and provide advice to patients and families.
  3. Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  5. Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  6. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  7. Address patient questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Stay informed of current medical advancements and best practices.
  9. Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the medical field.
