At Mercy, we are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. As a PA, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the medical team to provide quality, patient-centered care. Our ideal candidate is a team-oriented leader with an eagerness to learn and grow in their career.To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program, certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a valid state license. Experience in a medical setting is preferred. We also value strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing compassionate care. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and policies

• Assist physicians in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests

• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies

• Prescribe medications and treatments with physician authorization

• Provide patient education and counseling

• Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records

• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and standards

• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
