- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic surgery patients.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, casting, and wound care under the supervision of a physician.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care instructions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Utilize electronic medical records to accurately document all patient interactions and maintain organized patient records.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date on current medical research, trends, and best practices in orthopedic surgery.
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards and regulations while providing care to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the orthopedic surgery department.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification And Licensure As A Physician Assistant In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Orthopedic Surgery.
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Ability To Navigate And Input Patient Information Accurately.
