Job Description

Mercy is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. We are looking for an individual who has the necessary qualifications, a compassionate attitude, and a commitment to improving the lives of our patients. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a valid state license or certification. They should have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting working with a variety of patient populations, a solid understanding of evidence-based practice, and excellent communication and documentation skills. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the best care to our patients and is committed to their ongoing recovery. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide physical therapy services to patients in accordance with evidence-based practice guidelines.
  2. Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to help them reach their goals.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  4. Educate patients and families on the importance of physical therapy and proper exercise techniques.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in physical therapy.
  8. Participate in continuing education and training sessions to further develop clinical skills.
