Mercy is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a PT, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to individuals with physical disabilities in order to improve their mobility, reduce pain, and increase their overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, as well as a current license to practice in the state of California. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Instruct and supervise patients in the use of therapeutic exercises and other forms of physical therapy.
- Administer manual therapy techniques to help alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Develop patient education plans to ensure patient understanding of their therapy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document progress according to established standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in educational activities and professional organizations to stay current on best practices and trends in physical therapy.
- Maintain professional licensure and meet all continuing education requirements.
- Adhere to clinic policies and safety protocols at all times.
