- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures on patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols while collecting and handling specimens.
- Accurately label, record, and transport specimens to the appropriate laboratory for testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly disposing of hazardous materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by greeting them warmly, answering any questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various phlebotomy techniques, including capillary puncture and heel puncture.
- Utilize electronic medical records to accurately document patient information and test results.
- Assist in training and mentoring new phlebotomy staff as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection and processing.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the collection process.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect patient privacy at all times.
- Attend continuing education and training programs to stay updated on the latest phlebotomy techniques and protocols.

Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Or Registered Phlebotomy Technician (Rpt) Certification
Previous Experience As A Phlebotomist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Evenings, Nights, Weekends, And Holidays
Proficient In Venipuncture And Capillary Blood Collection Techniques
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds
