At Mercy, we are looking for a professional and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team of healthcare experts. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting, labeling, and processing blood samples from patients. You will have the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, and be part of a world-class healthcare organization.To be successful in this role, you must have a friendly personality, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work well independently. Responsibilities:

  1. Collect blood samples from patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Label and process samples in accordance with applicable protocols and regulations.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
  6. Monitor inventory of supplies and order additional supplies as needed.
  7. Follow all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay up to date on best practices.
  10. Assist other healthcare professionals, as needed.
