
Phlebotomist
At Mercy, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team and help us provide the highest quality of care to our patients. We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an excellent work ethic, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.To be considered for this position, applicants must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent, be certified as a Phlebotomist, and have at least two years of experience in a clinical setting. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also required. Additionally, applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.We are excited to find a candidate who can help us provide the best care to our patients and be a team player in our fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities: • Perform venipuncture and other blood collection techniques in a safe and accurate manner • Follow established guidelines to ensure patient safety • Practice aseptic technique, and maintain a high degree of sterility • Provide patients with clear and concise instructions before and during collection • Label specimens accurately and document all relevant data • Maintain a clean and orderly work area • Follow protocols for specimen collection, handling, and storage • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times • Assist with administrative tasks as needed • Provide excellent customer service, and ensure patient satisfaction • Adhere to all safety regulations and policies
Current Cpr Certification
