- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
- Assist patients with their basic needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
- Help patients navigate the hospital system and provide assistance with scheduling appointments, transportation, and other logistical needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and report any changes in a patient's condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.

Experience In Healthcare: A Patient Support Associate Should Have Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Inpatient Care Management. This Includes Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Patient Care Procedures, And Hipaa Regulations.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Healthcare Staff Is Crucial For A Patient Support Associate. They Should Be Able To Provide Clear And Concise Information About Patient Care Plans And Address Any Concerns Or Questions.
