We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Patient Services Specialist to join our Home Health team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and quality of care in the comfort of their own homes.   1. Greet and welcome patients and their families to Mercy with compassion and empathy.
  2. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and the home health team.
  4. Coordinate and schedule home health appointments and services according to patient needs.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
  6. Ensure that all patient information is kept confidential and in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  7. Collaborate with the home health team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  8. Monitor and track patient satisfaction and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  9. Assist patients with any necessary paperwork or forms related to their home health services.
  10. Stay updated on current home health policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  11. Attend team meetings and provide input and feedback to improve patient care and services.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times when interacting with patients, their families, and team members.
  13. Continuously strive to improve the patient experience and quality of care provided.
  14. Other duties as assigned by the Home Health Manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Patient Services Or Customer Service, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Regulations, And Hipaa Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Their Families, And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.
