- Develop and implement patient safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential safety hazards and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address safety concerns and implement effective solutions.
- Educate and train staff on best practices for patient safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Investigate and analyze incidents or near-misses related to patient safety and develop action plans for prevention.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in patient safety to continuously improve our practices and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for patients and their families, providing information and support related to patient safety.
- Monitor and track patient safety data and report findings to upper management for quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in safety committees and meetings to contribute to the development and improvement of safety protocols.
- Maintain and promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Patient Safety Role Or Related Healthcare Position
Knowledge And Understanding Of Patient Safety Regulations And Standards, Such As Joint Commission Guidelines
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With Healthcare Teams
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities, With The Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Areas For Improvement In Patient Safety Processes.
