Job Description

Mercy is looking for an experienced and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our award-winning healthcare team. Our ideal candidate is an energetic professional with a great attitude and an eagerness to learn. As a PCT, you will be responsible for providing excellent care to our patients and working with a team of professionals to provide a high level of customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. You should also be knowledgeable in medical terminology and have experience working in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent patient care by following medical protocols, administering medication, and helping with basic patient needs.
  2. Work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a high level of customer service and quality patient care.
  3. Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  4. Maintain accurate medical records and provide detailed reports to physicians.
  5. Monitor patient progress and document any changes in condition.
  6. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
  7. Participate in continuing education and training to stay abreast of new developments in the healthcare field.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and comply with HIPAA regulations.
