Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Mercy is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and service to our patients, and have a positive, patient-focused attitude.To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a current certification as a Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, or EMT/Paramedic. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and inpatient care is preferred. You must also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational and time-management abilities, and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Responsibilities:

-Provide quality care and service to patients. -Assist with delivering patient care in a healthcare setting. -Assist with administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed. -Monitor patient vitals and record patient information. -Provide patient education and support services. -Follow established protocols and protocols of care. -Maintain patient privacy and provide a safe environment. -Assist in the development of patient care plans. -Perform other duties as assigned.
