  1. Provide compassionate and quality care to patients in accordance with established healthcare practices and protocols.
  2. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  3. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  4. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  6. Assist with the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments and arranging transportation.
  7. Keep accurate and timely records of patient observations, treatments, and progress.
  8. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and common areas.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  10. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  12. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall quality of care.
  13. Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations, and handle emergencies efficiently.
  14. Maintain a positive attitude and promote a supportive and caring environment for patients and their families.
  15. Willingly take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: This Is The Basic Educational Requirement For A Patient Care Associate At Mercy. A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Readiness For The Role.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Mercy Requires All Patient Care Associates To Hold A Valid Cna Certification. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Provide Basic Patient Care.
