- Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required signatures.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures and treatments.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle patient inquiries and complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate department as needed.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure proper coding and billing for services rendered.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines when handling patient information.
- Continuously monitor and maintain patient waiting areas to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
