- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the cardiovascular department in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining the department's calendar.
- Answer phone calls and communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Coordinate and organize office supplies, equipment, and other resources for the department.
- Assist in billing and insurance processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Provide administrative support to the department's consultants, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Proactively identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless operations.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Health Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Cardiology Department.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Clinical Procedures Related To Cardiovascular Care.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Electronic Medical Record Systems.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
