  1. Assess and evaluate patients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities to determine individualized treatment plans.
  2. Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  3. Document patient progress, treatment plans, and observations accurately and timely.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  5. Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities.
  6. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and strategies to improve daily living skills.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.
  8. Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in the practice of occupational therapy.
  9. Maintain professional development and stay updated on advances and changes in the field of occupational therapy.
  10. Contribute to the overall success and positive reputation of Mercy by delivering high-quality and compassionate care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As An Occupational Therapy Assistant, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Techniques And Interventions.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Patients, Caregivers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
