As an OB Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting our surgeons during obstetric procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.   1. Assist surgeons during obstetric procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
  2. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies.
  3. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively provide necessary instruments and supplies.
  4. Ensure proper positioning of patients and assist with draping.
  5. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
  6. Prepare and handle specimens for laboratory analysis.
  7. Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures.
  8. Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists.
  9. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  11. Continuously update and maintain knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
  12. Assist with patient transportation and transfer to recovery areas.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  14. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient information.
  15. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  16. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  17. Demonstrate a compassionate and professional demeanor at all times.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Obstetrics/Gynecology Surgical Procedures

  • Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques And Surgical Instruments Specific To Ob Surgeries

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Adhering To Strict Surgical Protocols And Safety Measures.
