  1. Assist nursing staff in providing compassionate and high-quality care to all patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Nurse Technician At Mercy Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field To Demonstrate A Strong Foundation In Healthcare Principles And Practices.

  • Active State Nursing License: As An Inpatient Med/Surg Nurse Technician, It Is Essential To Possess An Active State Nursing License To Ensure Compliance With Local Regulations And Maintain A High Level Of Patient Care.

  • Prior Experience In A Hospital Setting: Mercy Requires Its Nurse Technicians To Have Prior Experience In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In The Med/Surg Unit. This Experience Ensures The Candidate Is Familiar With The Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment Of An Inpatient Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Vital For A Nurse Technician As They Will Be Interacting With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. These Skills Are Crucial In Providing Quality Patient Care And Building A Positive Rapport With The Team.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work Under Pressure: Inpatient Med/Surg Units Can Be Hectic And Demanding, And A Nurse Technician Must Possess The Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently Under Pressure. This Skill Allows The Candidate To Prioritize Tasks And Provide Prompt Care To Patients In Critical Situations.
