Job Description

  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top nursing talent.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with nursing schools, professional organizations, and other potential sources of candidates.
  3. Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, such as job boards, social media, and networking events, to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
  4. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to identify qualified candidates.
  5. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and facilitate the hiring process.
  6. Coordinate and conduct on-site interviews, reference checks, and background checks.
  7. Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and reports.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing recruitment.
  10. Represent the organization and promote its values and mission to potential candidates.
  11. Participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities.
  12. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new nursing hires.
  13. Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  14. Serve as a brand ambassador for Mercy and actively promote the organization's culture and values.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to attract and retain top nursing talent.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Recruitment, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines Related To Recruitment And Employment.

  • Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Organizational Skills.

  • Familiarity With Applicant Tracking Systems And Other Recruitment Software.
