- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Primary Care department at Mercy.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with advancements in healthcare and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive healthcare experience.

Master's Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Practitioner At Mercy Should Possess A Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Advanced Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Perform The Duties Of A Primary Care Provider.
Current Np Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Current Nurse Practitioner Certification From A Recognized National Certifying Body, Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).
State Licensure: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Where The Mercy Facility Is Located. This Ensures That The Np Is Qualified And Authorized To Provide Primary Care Services Within The State.
Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In A Primary Care Setting. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Provide High-Quality, Evidence-Based Care To Patients.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: A Nurse Practitioner At Mercy Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Listen Actively, Build Rapport, And Provide Empathetic Care To Patients.
