Job Description

Are you a Nurse Practitioner (NP) looking to make a difference in the lives of patients in need? Mercy is seeking an experienced, compassionate NP who is committed to providing quality care to our patients. As an NP at Mercy, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and prescribing medications.You must have a valid license as an NP in the state of practice, as well as a master’s degree in nursing or a doctoral degree in nursing practice. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized and have a passion for providing quality care to our patients. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
  2. Perform physical examinations and order and interpret laboratory tests.
  3. Prescribe medications as necessary.
  4. Maintain a valid license as an NP in the state of practice.
  5. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
  6. Remain self-motivated, organized and passionate about providing quality care to patients.
