Mercy is looking for an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. An ideal candidate should have a passion for providing the highest quality of care to our patients, have a strong background in nursing, and a commitment to providing the best patient experience. The successful candidate should have a Master's degree in Nursing or related field, possess a valid license to practice nursing in the state of practice, and have at least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will be expected to demonstrate clinical expertise in their specialty area, have excellent communication skills, and be an excellent team player. We are looking for an individual who is committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care and has an enthusiasm for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to patients in accordance with Mercy’s standards and protocols.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in specialty area and provide patient education.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare team.
- Maintain valid license to practice nursing in the state of practice.
- Participate in patient rounds and provide updates to the healthcare team.
- Ensure all documentation and patient records are updated and accurate.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide support and guidance for patients and their families.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Participate in continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
