Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background Is Essential For A Nuclear Med Technologist At Mercy.
Arrt Or Nmtcb Certification: Mercy Requires Its Nuclear Med Technologists To Be Certified By Either The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb).
State Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In The State Where Mercy Is Located.
Knowledge Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures And Equipment: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Nuclear Medicine Procedures And Be Proficient In Operating Equipment Such As Gamma Cameras And Pet Scanners.
