- Maintain accurate patient records: The Monitor Technician must accurately document all cardiac rhythms and any changes in a patient's condition in their medical records.
- Collaborate with medical staff: The Monitor Technician works closely with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and nurses to ensure timely and appropriate care for patients.

Certification In Cardiac Monitoring: Mercy May Require Candidates To Have A Certification In Cardiac Monitoring, Such As Certified Cardiographic Technician (Cct) Or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (Crat). This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Proficiency In Interpreting And Analyzing Cardiac Rhythms.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Monitor Technician At Mercy Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Including Cardiac Terminology. This Enables Them To Accurately Interpret And Document Cardiac Rhythms And Communicate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
